Delivery Procedure

1. Subcontractors must book deliveries in advance with our Logistics Manager, Kestutis Barkaitis, who will confirm the booking and provide a time slot.

2. Upon approaching the Yard entrance, delivery drivers should call the designated number from the gate using the provided phone. Our staff will check the delivery against the schedule, open the gate, and direct the driver to the loading bay.

3. While driving through the Yard, delivery drivers must:

   • Follow the one-way system at all times

   • Adhere to all directions and instructions given by the traffic marshal

   • Observe all signs and road markings, including pedestrian crossings

4. A banksman or slinger/signaller will direct the safe movement and loading/unloading of the vehicle using the Yard forklift, telehandler, or crane.

5. Once unloading/loading is complete, the banksman and traffic marshal will direct the vehicle out of the Yard onto Menmarsh Road for exit onto the M40.

6. Vehicles are not permitted to reverse out of the Yard unless it is absolutely impossible to follow the one-way system.

URGENT - Dear Suppliers

We have recently experienced several traffic incidents involving external haulage contractors accessing our plant yard at Menmarsh Rd, Worminghall, HP18 9UP. To avoid further issues, please ensure your drivers are aware of the correct route and avoid driving through the small village of Stanton St John via Cook Lane, which has weight restrictions. Google Maps may not provide accurate directions for articulated lorries, potentially leading to traffic problems and damage to grass verges, margins, and stone walls.

Accessing the Yard from M40 South/East (London direction)

1. Take Junction 8 off the M40 motorway (Oxford/Cheltenham)

2. Keep left and follow signs for Aylesbury/A418

3. Turn left onto London Rd

4. Turn right onto Waterperry Rd

5. Continue on Waterperry Road, which leads onto Clifden Rd

6. Turn left onto Menmarsh Rd

7. Drive 2 miles - Midwest Yard is on the left-hand side with a green palisade external fence

Accessing the Yard from M40 North/West (Birmingham/Manchester direction)

1. Take Junction 8A off the M40 motorway (A418/A40 exit to Thame/Aylesbury/Oxford)

2. At the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto London Rd/A40/A418

3. At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A40/A418

4. Turn right onto London Rd

5. Turn right onto Old London Rd

6. Turn right onto Waterperry Rd

7. Continue on Waterperry Road, which leads onto Clifden Rd

8. Turn left onto Menmarsh Rd

9. Drive 2 miles - Midwest Yard is on the left-hand side with a green palisade external fence
